The Simplest Things Make the Biggest Difference

So, the PeopleSoft Geekery blog had a small success today (in my mind). Last week I posted an entry about a new PeopleSoft tool. To my surprise, I received an email today from Chris Heller, the PeopleSoft guru from the company who makes the tool. Now keep in mind, I didn’t send him an email, or tell anyone. (I guess I did ping Technorati, so that is kind of like telling people).

He thanked me for the post, but also told me that the product did more than I mentioned in the post. I’m sure he wanted to get the info out that the software does more than I posted, but it was impressive that he took the time to find my blog entry and send me an email thanking me. I was wrong in my post (lack of thinking on my part), so it was nice to be corrected too.

All in all, a small victory and hopefully a sign of better things to come.
